Q: What is the Showcase format?

A: The showcase is a full day event from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm.  For 2023, the morning portion of our showcase will be geared toward adult programs and the afternoon portion will be geared towards children’s and young adult programs. * Performers are typically given a 15 minute time slot in which they can present their program(s) to the audience made up of librarians from around the county.  There is a 10 minute break in between performances for setup/tear down.  * Exhibits are located in the area outside of the auditorium.  Exhibitors are provided with a 3′ x 6′ table on which they can display program materials and information.

Q: When is your showcase?

A: Typically our showcase is held in February or March, and is once a year.

Q: How can I be part of the showcase?

A: Please fill out the application under the Application tab.  All applications that are received may be considered for the next showcase.

A: As service to our member libraries, we work to present new and different performers and programs each year.   We strive not to repeat a performance for at least three years.

A: The stage for performers is shaped like a trapezoid.  The back of the stage is 15′ wide while the front of the stage is 18′ wide, and the distance from the back of the stage to the front is 9 1/2 feet long.  There is a 10 1/2 foot height clearance.
